This quaint town and charming venue, SteamPlant Event Center, are a great place to light up your love! Invite your friends and family and spend the weekend learning about this historic town. Don't forget to include a fabulous photographer to capture the event!

From the Bride, Rachel: People always tell you to pick 3 things to prioritize for your wedding, for us it was only 1 community! We wanted our amazing wedding guests to come together, enjoy each other, feel our love for them, and leave with new friends. That led to planning 4 days of events in Salida, Colorado where once our 108 guests arrived, they never saw their cars again. Our theme of community even manifested itself in the details like family style served food, glassware that did double duty as place cards, and a dance party that lasted late into the night. Our many events were filled with the enthusiasm and love of our guests which led to a truly communal and spectacular wedding weekend.

From the photographer, Sarah of Sarah Hill Photography: The town of Salida offers so many funky, little, quirky streets and alley's that made for such fun bridal party photos! The Bride wanted to incorporate fun and bold colors along with many personal touches. The Bride and Groom made their own chuppah to stand under at their ceremony in the park, they served their favorite ice cream flavors at the reception, had a custom crossword puzzle for their guests to fill out during dinner and were sure to include every guest into their big day
